Problems In America: Dorm Rooms

With large numbers of students in the United States enrolled in universities you think they’d make dorm rooms a little more comfortable. Why can’t they paint the walls a real human color? Dorm rooms look like physc wards. Studies actually show that paint colors can affect a person’s mood. I understand that college kids are rough on dorm rooms and it’s costly to replace broken things. However, for the sake of our sanity please do not stick us in a concrete box and call it “home”. We already have to deal with your crappy wifi and soy burgers, so please please please make the walls any color but grey. It’s just so bleak I can’t handle it.
